Andre Villanueva

Country Representative & Project Officer, the Philippines

Since January 2017, Andre Villanueva is the Country Representative of KNCV in the Philippines. He was its Technical Coordinator for the Improved TB/HIV Prevention & Care: “Building Models for the Future”project funded by the Dutch government, implemented by KNCV and HIVOS until August 2019; and Project Coordinator for the 99DOTS as a Platform for Quality TB Treatment by Private Providers in the Philippines funded by TB REACH since August 2018. Effective September 01, 2019, Dr. Villanueva is also KNCV’s Project Manager for the Adherence Support Coalition to End TB (ASCENT) funded by Unitaid.

Andre Villanueva is a medical doctor and healthcare management specialist with more than 20 years of experience in managed care and public health. Since 1990, he has held various executive and program management positions of increasing responsibility covering various aspects of healthcare management in various health care settings in the Philippines, Indonesia, Ethiopia, and Bangladesh.
