
Max Meis started at KNCV in 2009 as Senior Consultant, assisting national TB programs to develop and implement infection prevention & control approaches and interventions. He served as technical focal point for several countries with KNCV presence developing rolling annual project plans and overseeing KNCV-country office project activities. He has also assisted countries in developing Global Fund funding requests and monitoring grant implementation. Currently, Max provides technical assistance to national TB programs on strategic planning using the People Centred Framework (x) which includes data consolidation along the TB care continuum and health service delivery optimisation.
Max is a medical doctor with postgraduate training and experience in public health. He holds a professional registration in International Public Health. His main areas of interest are infectious disease control and prevention, health systems strengthening, integration of disease programs, quality of care, private provider engagement and result based financing.
