
Johannes Molla has over 13 years of working experience in various rolls and capacities. Now he serves as Project manager, Unitaid/KNCV/ASCENT project, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Adherence Support Coalition to End TB (ASCENT) project funded by UNITAID is an innovative four years project which will be implemented in Addis Ababa city and Oromia Regions in Ethiopia till 2022 with possible future scale up. The project will implement digital adherence technologies (DAT) intervention through an overarching adherence data platform. This will be done via an open source adherence platform capable of supporting the use of adherence technologies including electronic pill boxes, video and mobile technologies to monitor treatment for Drug Susceptible, Drug Resistant TB patients and those with latent tuberculosis infection.
Johannes got his Doctorate degree in Medicine from Addis Ababa University Medical Faculty, Ethiopia. He also has a Master’s degree in Public Health from Hawassa University- Addis Continental Institute of Public Health, Ethiopia.
