Bihil Shrefedin

Junior Laboratory Advisor

Bihil Shrefedin joined KNCV in February 2020 on ASTTIE and PODTEC Research projects. She is a graduate of Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Science(BSc) from Addis Ababa University, and M.S.C Degree in Diagnostic and Public Health Microbiology, from Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Bihil has 19 years of experience. She worked as a Regional Laboratory Advisor for an international NGO called Technical Support for the Ethiopian HIV/AIDS ART, Johns Hopkins University initiative JHU TSEHAI, and ICAP-ETHIOPA respectively. JHU TSEHAI and ICAP-ETHIOPA are PEPFAR funded NGO’s working in all HIV/AIDS areas. Bihil worked for Management Science for Health (MSH) Challenge TB (CTB) project in the position of Specimen Referral Linkage Coordinator. She has extensive experience in TB diagnosis and HIV/AIDS ART initiative in laboratory program activities (Planning, Implementation, M&E Capacity building and so on).
