Eveline Klinkenberg, MSc PhD Consultant Epidemiology
Eveline Klinkenberg is a senior epidemiologist. She has a multidisciplinary background and a PhD (from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine) investigating both epidemiological as well as entomological aspects of urban agriculture on malaria. She has worked and lived in many different countries all over the world working on operational research and public health issues for over ten years. She started working as a water and health consultant, and subsequently as a public health researcher, strengthening local operational research capacity to rebuild health systems in Afghanistan and Sudan.
Since joining KNCV in 2007, she assists national tuberculosis programs to develop operational research capacity and provides technical assistance to countries carrying out TB prevalence surveys. She is currently based in Ethiopia.
