
Lillian has over 20 years of professional experience as a medical doctor working in the fields of internal medicine and project management in Tanzania with a performing track record in the provision of technical oversight and guidance in HIV management and prevention, administration of an experimental TB vaccine, control of infectious diseases, and maternal and child health survival programmes.
She joined KNCV in September 2018 as the Project Manager for IMPAACT4TB, a project to scale up the uptake of a short regimen for TB preventive therapy. She has provided technical assistance to the government to effect policy change to include shorter regimens in the national guidelines, engaged with stakeholders including civil society organisations, and finalised a protocol for the implementation of the project.
She also provides overall leadership of the KNCV Tanzania office in terms of administrative and financial management.
