KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis (TB). KNCV is the lead partner in Challenge TB, the new USAID-funded 5-year global program. We lead an international consortium comprising eight other partner organizations besides KNCV: ATS, FHI 360, IRD, JATA, MSH, PATH, The Union, and WHO. The strategic objectives of Challenge TB are to improve access to patient care, to prevent transmission and disease progression, and to strengthen TB platforms.
KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is recruiting a
Senior M&E Officer for the Challenge TB program in Tanzania.
The purpose of the position is to provide in-country technical leadership and support for monitoring and evaluation and knowledge management. The Senior M&E officer will ensure the integration of M&E into Challenge TB country program, collect report and analyze information on the Challenge TB country program activities, ensure timely and complete reporting from in-country executing partners in accordance with approved reporting formats. S/he will monitor and evaluate progress towards annual work plans, expected outputs, including selecting and monitoring progress in meeting indicators, prepare and contribute to all progress reports, collect, analyze data for Challenge TB’s annual M&E plan and use those data to improve project performance and adapt and implement tools and techniques to improve the quality and use of data for decision making.
Who are we looking for?
You have a Masters’ degree in management, M&E, health sciences or public health. At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with preferable experience in the African Region; experience with Monitoring and Evaluation in USG supported projects in particular; experience in using MS Office package. Fluent in English (verbally and written), have experience in supervising M & E staff, coordination of Operational Research data collection, other data collection activities. Have strong report writing skills.
