KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis (TB). KNCV is the lead partner in Challenge TB, the new USAID-funded 5-year global program. We lead an international consortium comprising eight partner organizations in addition to KNCV: ATS, FHI 360, IRD, JATA, MSH, PATH, The Union, and WHO. In Ethiopia, Challenge TB is being implemented by KNCV as a lead and MSH and WHO as a collaborating partner. The strategic objectives of Challenge TB are to improve access to patient care, to prevent transmission and disease progression, and to strengthen TB platforms.

KNCV operates from a country office in Addis Ababa with sub-offices in other regional states.

KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is recruiting for the following positions for its Challenge TB project in Ethiopia.

Purpose of the position

The Procurement & Logistics Officer is responsible for all daily procurements and logistics functions of Challenge TB Project. S/he handle all tasks related to procurement and logistics ensuring that all procurement is done according to USAID rules and standards and in compliance with KNCV guidelines. Responsible for ensuring all requests for goods by technical and operations teams are fulfilled on time. Ensures an effective inventory tracking functions for Challenge TB assets and inventories. Ensures the proper functioning of supply chain including procurement planning, purchasing of goods and services, their transport and storage, supervises the organization, planning, and fleet management.

Who are we looking for?

Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing and Supplies or related disciplines with at least 5 years work experience in a similar position. High integrity, pro-active, stress resilient, and  team-player, excellent negotiation skills, experience working in projects supported by USAID or other USG projects.  Proven commitment to accountability practices, able to set priorities and meet deadlines. knowledge of relevant software.  Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
