Today is the opening of the Joep Lange Institute in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
In July 2015, almost a year after the MH17 disaster, the foundation of the Joep Lange Institute and the Joep Lange Chair and Fellows program was announced. The institute will safeguard and continue to apply the unique combination of scientific research, pragmatism and action that so characterized Joep Lange.

It is wonderful that his work and ‘out of the box thinking capacity ’ will continue live on in a new institute in whichwhere young and eager staff will work hand in hand with international leaders in their field. KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation looks forward to close and effective collaboration with the Joep Lange Institute”.
Joep Lange was Member of the Board of Trustees of KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation and has been of invaluable importance to KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation and the fight against TB and HIV.
