From the 26th to the 29th of October, Liverpool was host to the 47th annual conference on lung health. As one of the few global players focusing exclusively on tuberculosis (TB), KNCV was present in force. KNCV experts from all over the world participated in workshops on many TB-related topics in which they shared their expertise and discussed the latest developments in TB detection, treatment and research.
The conference’s theme, focusing on innovation, was well suited to the global efforts of KNCV staff, who work using the latest WHO recommendations and data as well as lead projects in underexplored topics such as digital-health, TB-associated stigma and applying the latest WHO recommendations on new drugs and regimens through the KNCV Patient Triage approach.
