KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation and other consortium partners have banded together to create the IMPAACT4TB project. It is a four-year project aimed at addressing latent tuberculosis infection, providing short-course TB preventive therapy for two vulnerable groups – children under 5 and people living with HIV – in 12 high-burden TB countries. In order to stem the tide of new TB cases, we must tackle latent TB infection and this project will help do that.
