Fabrizia Del Greco

Senior TB Generalist Consultant

Fabrizia is a medical doctor and holds a Master of Science in Tropical Medicine & International Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Fabrizia has 9 years experience working in range of infectious diseases, including TB, TB/HIV, HIV, Malaria, and COVID-19. Fabrizia’s expertise includes: TB prevention and care, clinical research, epidemiology, monitoring and evaluation and surveillance systems, and national public health policy.

Fabrizia previously worked with the WHO’s Global TB Programme and the Global HIV, Hepatitis and Sexually Transmitted Infections Programmes on the Implementation of the Global Fund Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment Strategic Initiative for people living with HIV with a family approach (TPT SI), and worked with the WHO’s Western Pacific Regional Office on the development of the Multisectoral Accountability Framework for TB (MAF-TB) and country assessments. Fabrizia has also worked as an epidemiologist with Medecins Sans Frontieres and was the TB/HIV program manager and head of monitoring and evaluation with Doctors with Africa CUAMM.

Within KNCV, Fabrizia works with the People-Centred Framework initiative: evaluating and optimising TB interventions and national TB strategic plans and policies. Fabrizia also develops and implements research to support decision and policy making, and engages with global and country partners to map and analyse epidemiological and health systems data.
