Inez de Kruijf-Carter

Consultant II – Stigma reduction; Community, Rights and Gender; Digital Health

Inez de Kruijf-Carter has degrees in counselling psychology, and community and health psychology.

Within KNCV, Inez leads the innovation pathway dedicated to stigma reduction: identifying context specific drivers of stigma and discrimination, and designing and implementing tailored stigma interventions targeting communities, persons living with TB; and healthcare providers. In addition, Inez supports project and country teams: developing people-centred interventions to target the specific needs of communities and gender groups. Inez also coordinates the work of the Global Digital Adherence Technology (DAT) Task Force, founded by the Stop TB Partnership, WHO, and KNCV. In this role Inez works with stakeholders, advocating for DAT use, and develops standard practices, training materials, and resources for the introduction and scale up of DATs.
