Eshetu Abdissa

Project manager

Eshetu Abdissa joined KNCV in 2018 as Project Manager for the IMPAACT4TB project. He leads and supports the overall programmatic coordination, implementation and monitoring of 3HP, short-course treatment for TB prevention among high risk populations. Eshetu coordinates and supports the implementation of operational researches in the area of community based paediatrics, TPT service delivery and evaluation of the scale up of 3HP in the programmatic setting.

Eshetu Abdissa is a medical doctor with Master’s in Public Health. He has experience in the clinical care and public health program support and management. Eshetu used to work in public general hospital as a clinician, and worked with various NGOs at different projects and programs at various capacities and technically supported the implementation of public health programs such as comprehensive HIV care and prevention programs (ART, HTC, PMTCT, STI), Kala-azar project, comprehensive TB, TB/HIV and DR-TB program through CTB project and PPM-TB program.
