Short Term Technical Advisor for the CTB Tanzania Project

Proposed activities The consultant will conduct a series of training and data-analysis sessions (subject to obtaining access to the data at least one week prior to the in-country visit) looking at various aspects of the Tanzania Xpert MTB/RIF® programmatic implementation


Urban Regional TB Advisor Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

The Urban Regional TB Advisor will be responsible for providing technical assistance to all clinical TB, DR-TB and TB/HIV activities for the urban regions namely Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa and Harari as well as major urban settings as needed.

Regional MDR TB Advisor SNNPR , Ethiopia

The MDR TB Clinical Advisor is the senior clinical expert who will provide technical support to the RHB, zonal health departments, and MDR TB Treatment Centers. S/he will also represent Challenge TB in regional MDR TB technical working group meetings. S/he will conduct supportive supervision and provides Continuing Medical Education (CME) for health workers from health institutions supported by the Challenge TB project. S/he will also participate in preparation of work plans, supportive supervisions, monitoring and evaluation of the project.
